For ten years, I was a professor of changing the world. For another fifteen, I worked with organizations that change the world, or at least their little piece of it.
In Spring 2012, I had a revelation: what I do best, and like doing the most, is to communicate. So, in 2013 I launched my new career as a nonprofit communications professional. I help organizations figure out how to communicate strategically with the people they have a reason to reach.
Writing, editing, blogging, public speaking, storytelling, cultivating good relations with the mainstream media and making best use of social media: these are the talents I want to invest in a good cause, as your communications director. Please see my Communicate! blog for helpful tips on how you can delight and engage your audiences.
I am still musing about social justice, and about the Jewish tradition that inspires me to take action (and random topics that intrigue me) at Welcome to My World. And I am checking in on friends and family, and following your adventures. Thanks for adding me to your circles.
